Why Real Church?

Have you read the New Testament lately and wondered “What happened to the Church?” The believers were loving each other, spending time together, living with a living God. . . Lost souls were being saved, sick people healed, and those who were captive, were set free. These People were experiencing the Life Of Christ everyday, in their everyday world.

Fast forward a couple thousand years, and the Church today is not who you are, but where you attend. The House Church has given way to the Huge Church, where Personal Relationship, has been exchanged for a Professional Show. Where Worship has become a song sung, instead of a Life Lived.

Unfortunately, we see much of the Modern Day Church struggling as a result of their embracing Style over Substance.

Enter Real Church . . .

We believe that God values . . .
  • Love More Than Laws,
  • Devotion More Than Duty,
  • Relationships More Than Religion.
We believe We should . . .
  • Trust His Word,
  • Submit Our Life,
  • Walk By Faith.
We believe that God has . . .
  • Paid Our Sin Debt in Full,
  • Secured Our Rights As Sons,
  • Empowered Us For Service.
We believe We're commissioned . . .
  • To Live Everyday,
  • To Love Everyone,
  • To Labor Everywhere!

These Truths Become Our Reality As We Live Out The Following Strategies . . .

Revive (The Christian)

Instead of just going to church, we insist on being the church, because we believe that every member of the Body of Christ should be a Minister. So, no professionals here, just people who are loved by God, and in turn love others.

Revive (The Christian)

Ministers Of Love...

2 Corinthians 3:6 (NIV)
He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant - not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

John 13:34-35 (NIV)
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

Renew (The Mission)

We believe that majoring on the minors is a complete waste of time, so our main focus is not on attending meetings filled with presentations, performances, and programs. Instead, we strive to become mature believers in full-on participation with the presence and power of a Living God.

Renew (The Mission)

Everyone Has A Part...

Ephesians 4:11-13 (NIV)
So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

Hebrews 5:14 (NIV)
But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.

Relate (The Truth)

We know that life is busy, but that doesn’t stop us from living a lifestyle that exudes evangelism. Each week we offer multiple groups, activities, and events that provide every believer the opportunity to reach out and touch their world with the reality and truth of Jesus Christ.

Relate (The Truth)

Seek And Save...

Luke 19:10 (NIV)
For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost.

John 13:13-17 (NIV)
"You call me 'Teacher' and 'Lord,' and rightly so, for that is what I am. Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. I tell you the truth, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.

Restore (The Church)

The same-old, same-old really doesn’t describe Real Church. We believe Jesus gave His life for more than just cool buildings where we watch a concert and listen to a lecture. So if you feel the same way and are tired of Sunday business as usual, then it’s time to connect with Real Church, where you'll find and fulfill your destiny in Christ.

Commissioned Members...

Romans 12:4-6a (NIV)
Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given us.

Matthew 28:18-20 (NIV)
Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
